Thirty-three years on from the first release of the Air Jordan 4 and the silhouette is still a trailblazer amongst others. In 1989 Tinker Hatfield was tasked with continuing the new emergence of the highly anticipated Air Jordan sneakers. When the Air Jordan 4 arrived on the scene, it cemented itself into sneaker culture for years to come.

The new 'Military Black' silhouette takes inspiration from the original 'White Cement' colourway but shares more similarities with the 'Military Blue' 2012 release. Black accents on the eyelets, midsole, Jumpman logo on the tongue and beneath the mesh netting set up another colour-blocking design against a white and grey upper.

Although grey covers the smallest surface area on the upper, a suede toe and portions of the rubber outsole make for a much-needed detail. A white upper on any Air Jordan 4 is always appreciated, and this one is no different. From the mesh netting to the tongue and support wings and the Jumpman logo on the heel.

The Air Jordan 4 'Military Black' is a super clean colourway that will fit into any sneaker collection. Releasing on 21 May, save the date to your calendar and check back for updates.
